050624 - Lilly explained a point that has not been previously understood.
050625 - She said that the day after Steve's surgery, they went to see the knee
050626 - surgery doctor for an examination.  The doctor changed the bandage and
050627 - examined the knee.  Lilly recalls the doctor poking and feeling the
050628 - knee and commenting that it seemed to be somewhat swelled with excess
050629 - "fluid."  He then inserted a needle into the swelled area in an
050630 - attempt to remove the fluid, but none was extracted.  He then put a
050631 - new bandage on the knee.

050634 - indicated that the swelling may have indicated the beginning of a
050635 - problem, and/or the needle may have caused or contributed to the
