090803 - Millie and I arrived early and got things set up. We were worried it
090804 - might start raining, but about 1130 or so the clouds lifted, and we
090805 - had a bright sunny day for the event by the time most everyone
090806 - arrived.  The fog began coming back about 1600.

090810 - Kim and I took the kids to the Merry-Go-Round, about a block away.

090812 - Amy got upset because her mom would not let her ride alone.  Amy
090813 - pointed out that since Stephanie, Mathew and Megan got to ride by

090817 - Bill brought a plastic ball and bat.  All the kids (Mathew, Megan,
090818 - Stephanie and Amy) took turns hitting the ball across the street.

090822 - This was not the real plan for baseball.  Had wanted to use the grassy
090823 - area (not the "knoll") about 1/8 mile up the road, but the dynamics of

090826 - Stephanie spotted what apparently was a stray cat, living in the
090827 - wild.  Pam put some food out for it, but it would not come into the
090828 - picnic area.  Good thing she had Cubby tied up, otherwise he might

090831 - Steve and Lilly did not make it until most everyone had left, so one
090832 - of the main objectives crashed.  We wanted to give all the kids a
