070714 - Dee echoed Morris' comment the other day, ref SDS 1 line 160801, that
070715 - people think in graphics as well as language.  She seemed to acknow-
070716 - ledge that this is more of a matter of degree that either or.  She
070717 - indicated that the use of language is a fundamental human capability
070718 - that extends the ability to think, plan, remember and communicate.

070720 -    It is not clear how other life forms "think", i.e. by images,
070721 -    smells, etc., but they certainly do not "think" in language.  I
070722 -    suppose one could say "sounds" are a form of language, but then
070723 -    "language" associated with symbols are a uniquely human form.

070725 - Bill Bankevitch said the other day he wants to think in pictures or
070726 - graphs.  But he finally acknowledge he must always roll up his
