041004 - He read our report late yesterday afternoon, ref SDS 4 line 76. Dari
041005 - said he does not expect the tension on the tilt mechanism will change
041006 - over time. He suggests we go ahead and switch with Busvan, and Cyrus
041007 - can deal with them on getting the mechanism into the Cyrus shop for
041008 - evaluation. He also said that we can disassemble the new chair and
041009 - send the mechanism to Cyrus for evaluation, correction or replacement.

041801 - Met Don at Busvan. He inspected the Cyrus chair we returned and
041802 - concurred it seems to tilt slightly forward, and that the chair tilt
041803 - mechanism is too stiff. He took it upstairs and tested the showroom
041804 - chair. We found it very easy to tilt back.

041806 - We did a quick examination of the showroom chair and found it appears
041807 - to conform to "new" condition. We tested the elevation mechanism and
041808 - it seemed to work okay.

041815 - As a result I accepted the showroom chair with the understanding that
041816 - it retains the same manufacturer's Five Year Warranty. We would
041817 - further expect that any defects or difficulties which might arise that
041818 - are excluded in the warranty coverage but which would not reasonably
041819 - be expected to occur in a new chair for this model and/or which arise
041820 - solely as a result of having been a model in a showroom, would be
041821 - corrected by Busvan and Cyrus, regardless of warranty exclusions.

090902 - the SDS memo I sent, ref SDS 4 line 131, was very thorough. He said
090903 - when he showed it to his boss, they just decided to exchange chairs
090904 - rather than try to figure out a response, which would be their normal
090905 - first reaction. He feels the SDS record saved them the time that
