041009 - 8. Rob, of course, was phenomenal memorializing mom (see attached

041011 - permitted. Rob covered everything I planned to say, and with
041012 - terrifically heartfelt passion. It was best for Rob to say
041013 - good by, and well done to mom for all of us. Throughout our
041014 - 60+ years as brothers, there have been endless times he made me
041015 - proud seeing him in action. Sunday was truly a great moment

041025 - 9. What fun hearing the backstory, on mom's wondrous grocery
041026 - shopping in the 1950s and 60s for a family of 10 on a budget
041027 - for what? - 5, sometimes only 3 or 2. She told me many times
041028 - of her close relationship with the butcher, and that he would
041029 - set aside bags of groceries to ease her burdens feeding a big
041030 - family. I was never aware of the beautiful story Rob told of
041031 - years earlier, mom giving him free advertising to aid starting
041032 - his own business, when mom worked for the Los Altos Currier;
041033 - and, so later, he fortuitously was in a position to help mom
041034 - and all of us, when he moved to a job in San Jose.
