050606 -   1.  You can see from Gary's letter today, shown below, that a
050607 -       constructive collaboration is forming which holds promise of
050608 -       progress on goals we have discussed for many years to make SDS
050609 -       commercially viable.  Gary's recent analysis in his record a few

050611 -       KM to strong articulation of SDS capabilities for Com Metrics.

050615 -   2.  This transformation is further evident in Gary's SDS records on
050616 -       Aerospace company's project for developing Future Combat Systems (combat).  I
050617 -       cannot disclose those records, but it is gratifying to see
050618 -       someone struggle to implement a new way of working with SDS.  Of

050620 -       be coming up on how well he does to create a useful record on
050621 -       major review meetings currently underway, and how well people at
050622 -       Aerospace company and the contract management folks with the US Army accept

050625 -       accepted by everyone all at once.  We were lucky at PG&E when
050626 -       the lead rep with the State of California miraculously accepted
050627 -       SDS on 940901 after a meeting with PG&E where SDS was explained.

050631 -   3.  Later, we were unlucky when Bill DeHart took early retirement
050632 -       before SDS had gained a broad enough base of support to

050644 -   5.  So far, Gary is exhibiting a lot of leadership that requires the
050645 -       vision to see, the courage to act and the will to persevere.
050646 -       Big tests are still ahead for SDS at Aerospace company; if luck is with us,
050647 -       and this catches on, Gary has indicated a next step might be to
050648 -       introduce the Com Manager role.  That would be a relief for me
050649 -       and the creditors, but it is nothing to count on at this stage.

050654 -       immediate issue.  We need about $5K - $10K to stave off the
050655 -       wolves for coming months, and to cure an eviction notice that
050656 -       comes due in few days.  If you can help with this it would be

050658 -       skeptical about the merits of investing more time and effort in
050659 -       SDS absent 500K customers.  Since this is still in the future,
050660 -       and perhaps because of crucial support you have given for many
050661 -       years without tangible rewards, I will understand if you demur

050665 -   7.  Longer term, we need to come up with a revenue stream that
050666 -       enables work to proceed churning out records on the Internet
050667 -       that demonstrate a new way of working "intelligently," which
050668 -       some might call "Knowledge Management."  Following our
050669 -       discussion the other day about a foundation, I will be raising
050670 -       this with Pat Lincoln at SRI in the next few days, per your

050672 -       endorsement letter would be issued for signature in two days,
