Dear Doug,
Subject: | Engelbart's Colloquium |
Hi,
I got through the registration for this class, and then was directed to instructions for downloading Microsoft Media Player. Checked and did not find anything specific for this on my system, so tried to download it.
The download hung, and so had to click reload. This resulted in losing the download web page and could not get back to complete the download. So, I may be registered but do not have Microsoft's Media Player. I think Real Player is on the computer.
Can you help?
I assume I am registered, because that part seemed to run correctly.
Do we really need the Microsoft program, or is it possible to get the text of the discussion or lecture, and links to reference material? This class sounds like analysis on 931008 explaining the need for a Knowledge Revolution rather than an Information Highway....
Thanks for your help.
Sincerely,
THE WELCH COMPANY
