Subject:   Received Documents Convert to HTML

Dear Rod,

You mentioned that you had a new E-mail address, but you never gave it to me, so I hope this still gets through.

It occurred to me that I don't know how or if I can take something like a typical E-mail from you (short note with a URL imbedded) and preserve either the original Email with the hypertext in it, or the letter opened at the URL with hypertext links in SDS format. Using Copy/Paste destroys the hypertext and the linking inferred by it. Presumably at least part of the "intelligence" in the message is the fact that it is linked to prior events, correspondence, detailed analysis, etc.

Have you figured this out? I see how you turn an SDS record or letter into HTML to use the Internet to share information. I don't see how I take HTML information and put it back into an SDS record with everything preserved so that links don't have to be recreated.

Sincerely,

Wayne
