Context Shows the Spot Supports Rather than Condems |
Dear Morris,
Sorry we can't visit this weekend on revising the Subject Index, since this is a major part of organization that is integral to intelligence, as we discussed on Thursday.
Please review the letter on Medical Mistakes which we have been discussing in the larger context of legal jepardy, management productivity and proactive risk management in the face of growing complexity.
Out, out damn spot is still a fools game, as it was in the time of Shakespear. Adding intelligence to management is a stronger risk management strategy than ignorance, fear and denial, which results from destorying information. First, you can't destroy it all, so your enemies will have all of the evidence. Destruction is evidence of something to hide. Inferences are all negative. It is indeed a tough spot for an executive trying to get things done on time and within budget. No amount of time nor money can remedy the loss of intelligence.
Sincerely,
THE WELCH COMPANY
