The lab of 250 researchers is engaged in research in many areas of Computer Science and Mathematics including Information Management and Collaborative Technologies, Distributed Software Systems, Communications, Neural Networks and Intelligent Systems, Agent Technologies, Security etc. The lab provides an opportunity to participate in exciting multi-disciplinary research cutting across a number of technologies. For example, Spatial DB research is combined with haptics research to develop an advanced CAT- Haptics system featured in a recent article about the lab in Computer World:
